Towards Healthy With Happy

Healthy and happy are two things that are inherent and inseparable, we all know that when someone is happy, the chances of being healthy will be greater. Unhappy people are more likely to experience health problem than those who are happy. But then does being happier also make someone more healthy?. Happiness and health have been anecdotally linked for quite a while now—”laughter is the best medicine” has become a cliché’ for a reason—but research backs up what many people have instinctively assumed all along: that health and happiness are really connected, and that one’s level of happiness really can impact the level of one’s health.

Based on science, when a person laughs can release physical tension in the muscles, repair blood flow and anemia release of nitric oxide which increases the immune system. Strain can also reduce hormone stress and realease hormones, chemical compounds that make you calm and function as natural pain relief medications. Yeah right, laughter can be the most effective medicine.   In another study, researchers gave 81 university students a vaccine against hepatitis B, a virus that attacks the liver. Happier students were nearly twice as likely to have a high antibody response, a sign of a strong immune system.Happiness is a broad term that describes the experience of positive emotions, such as joy, contentment and satisfaction. 

The word healthy is not only identical with physical, but also about mental. And this is very closely related to “happiness”.  Happiness researcher Robert Holden conducted a survey and found that 65 out of 100 people would choose happiness over health, but that both were highly valued. Fortunately, we don’t have to choose: happiness and health go hand-in-hand. As Holden stated, “There is no true health without happiness”.The conclusion is maintaining health is indeed very important, and of course the condition for someone to be considered truly healthy is “happy”, then lay your body down when the brain starts to stress, try to breathe fresh air from parks or forest trees, try to be as happy as possible people in this world. Smile and laugh, because happiness is a sign of a healthy person, and healthy is a sign of a happy person.
